Georgian Regency Pansy Brooch bombé rings If they failed to doDATE: Regency Period, c. 1810 An incredible gold pansy brooch dating from the Georgian Regency period, circa 1810. It's beautifully constructed from cut out sheets of rose and yellow gold, and featuring fine filigree work around the outer petals. In this instance the pansy is a rebus for "think of me", from the French pense meaning thought. It's crafted in 15 karat gold and remains in excellent antique condition.
