The pattern is worked entirely in mustard gold scalloped petals, dotted fill and fine trailing stems opening out from a four petal centre, tone on tone rather than high contrast. Every piece is painted freehand, so no two are identical. Slight variations in line weight, glaze pooling and colour depth
